ISKANDAR MALAYSIA, 22 OCTOBER 2013 – MSC Cyberport Sdn. Bhd. today announced the development plan for phase one of MSC Cyberport City in Kulaijaya, located within Zone E of Iskandar Malaysia. MSC Cyberport City will be developed in three phases starting from 2014, with an initial gross development value (GDV) of RM626 million.
Phase one of MSC Cyberport City will cover an area of approximately 35 acres and will include the development of:
- a 125,000 square feet MSC Cyberport Digital Centre which shall be the icon of MSC Cyberport City;
- 89 Cyber Enterprise Complexes which cater for companies that want customised offices and data centre buildings;
- 400 units of SOCO or Small Office Cyber Office that cater for living as well as small start-ups and small e-commerce companies;
- 364,000 square feet Cyberpark catering for data centres and purpose built buildings for outsourcing companies; and
- a Lifestyle and Incubation Centre.
MSC Cyberport City is planned to be the ICT flagship of Iskandar Malaysia and is a state-of-the-art MSC Malaysia development project to be developed on a 150-acre freehold land in Kulaijaya.It is located within the area of Kulai and Senai and is strategically located at the meeting point of the North-South Highway and Second Link Highway. MSC Cyberport City is approximately half an hour away from Singapore and within a three-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. It is also located next to the highly popular Johor Premium Outlets and close to the Malaysian University of Technology (UTM) which produces local talent and knowledge workers every year that will cater for the human capital requirements of the companies that will be located in MSC Cyberport City.
MSC Cyberport City is designed with a modern cluster of ICT buildings where skilled knowledge workers will reside and work. The concept of Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability (LOHAS) has been adopted for the development of the Cybercity.

Ganesh was speaking at the Gala Dinner of the 2013 Asia Pacific Outsourcing Summit (APOS) held at Traders Hotel, Nusajaya, Iskandar Malaysia. The Gala Dinner and Announcement was officiated by Y.B. Datuk Ir. Hj Hasni bin Hj Mohammad, Executive Committee Chairman of Public Works, Rural and Regional Development for the Johor State on behalf of the Chief Minister of Johor.
